Simple instruction to apply vinyl decals to any smooth surface!
1. First you want to make sure that the surface is clean. Windex usually does the trick, but make sure you let it dry completely.
2. Before you are going to place it on the desired location, take a hard item like a credit card and rub it over the surface of the decal to make sure it is firmly sticking to the transfer paper.
3. With the paper backing still in place, line the decal up on the desired location. Use a piece of masking tape or painters tape to hold it in place on the top center of the decal.
4. Fold the complete decal set up with the tape still in place to gently fold back one edge of the paper backing about 1/2". Then place back down on the desired location so that the 'sticky' of the 1/2" of now exposed transfer tape is sticking to your desired location.
5. Place it slowly on the item you want it to adhere to by using one hand to smooth with the credit card and the other hand slowly pull the paper backing off, making sure there are no bubbles. Once again use the credit card to smooth it out and make sure it is stuck to the item.
6. Start to pull off the transfer paper slowly and if any part of the decal is not sticking, press the transfer tape back down on that part of the decal and rub it more with the credit card.
